Adding Notes and Rests

The Basic toolbar is used to add notes to the staff with the mouse.

Once added, notes may be modified with some of the other buttons, to add dots, change its value, beam with other notes etc.

Notes are added in a free-form manner with no restriction on their value or position.

They may be autospaced by pressing the even spacing button

button on the main toolbar.

An optional note value checker will turn bars red when they are populated incorrectly.
